RELEX Group and Alt Linux, Ltd. announce the expansion of their cooperation and signing of a software development technological partnership agreement.
As part of cooperation, the new versions of the companies’ products were tested for compatibility:
• database management system (DBMS) Linter BASTION
• unified distribution Alt Linux SPT 6.0
The tests estimated the overall performance of the software products, their operation speed and reliability; the assessment also included workload testing imitating concurrent work of a large number of users .
The results testify that Alt Linux SPT 6.0 and DBMS Linter BASTION are fully compatible and can be recommended as a domestic system platform to be used in automated systems with high information security requirements.
In the near future, the partner companies plan to release a single distribution that will include RELEX and Alt Linux software products.
Alt Linux SPT 6.0 is a distribution for servers and workstations with embedded information security facliities. The distribution is certified by the Russian FSTEC and can be used to build automated systems up to Class 1B inclusively and personal data systems up to Class K1 inclusively. The distribution is also classified as Level 3 jf undeclared capabilities absence control, and Class 4 of protection against unauthorized access.
DBMS Linter Bastion is a Russian SQL server certified by the Russian FSTEC and Ministry of Defense and recommended for use at military enterprises, in government projects and special hardware and software complexes handling state secret data. Linter BASTION is used in Russian power-wielding agencies, Rosatom organizations and other state institutions and commercial companies.
