March 31, 2011 has become a significant date in the history of Russian IT: the Voronezh Regional Association of IT companies was launched, and RELEX, Inc. was one of its cofounders.
The goals of the Association are:
- Consolidation of forces to form an official opinion and protect the interests of the IT industry in the region.
- Joint activities in the authorities and efficient communication in the industry.
- Coordinated actions contributing to the growth and development of the IT market.
The Association’s areas of concentration are:
- relationship between the state and the businesses;
- standardization and certification;
- education in the IT sphere;
- international activities and investment;
- protection of intellectual property;
- popularization of IT;
- communication within the industry.
Besides RELEX, the members of the Voronezh Regional Association of IT companies are the largest IT companies of the Tsentralno-Chernozemny Region.
